The 2010 event has already been booked for a fourth year at the beautiful Detroit Golf Club.  The event will take place on Monday July 26th. 

This year, participants are in for a added treat!  We are scheduled to play on the longer North course.  The 2010 event will represent a challenge for both returning and new participants.  Make your plans NOW to join us!  Contact a member of the Golf Committee for pre-signup.

Introduction

In just three years, sponsors and participants in the Scholarship Golf Outing have raised over $1500,000 to fund an endowed scholarship for Detroit high school students who attend the School of Business Administration.

April 2009

Tyekingya Nichols
Tyekingya graduated from Cass Tech.  She is a full time marketing major and is employed part-time at Henry Ford Hospital.  Tyekingya is involved in the KYDS Leadership Program and serves on the Youthville Steering Committee.  She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa academic honor society.

Michael Ashford
Michael graduated from Cass Tech.  He is a full time marketing major and is employed in the DPS' Department of Funds & Development.  Michael is an active member of his church and volunteers monthly in community service activities.  He is also active in the "Make a Wish" foundation.
